Meet Dr. Tiffany, ND
Dr. Tiffany received her bachelor of science with honors from Queen’s University with a major in life sciences and a minor in philosophy. Although seeming like a strange combination, her philosophy education enabled her to think about the big picture behind WHY people want to reach their health goals and how these goals motivate action (and inaction).
Let’s take the example of exercise, a pro-health behavior. Despite exercise being good for our health, people rarely workout for the sake of enjoying exercise. We exercise for the big-picture benefits that we value — having the mobility to play with our grandchildren, feeling reduced stress and anxiety, having the physical fitness to go on that once-in-a-lifetime hike on vacation, looking our best and feeling confident, and preventing familial disease.
Dr. Tiffany's interdisciplinary background allows her to approach health and wellness from a unique perspective, blending scientific knowledge with a deep understanding of human behavior. Her philosophy studies sharpened her ability to analyze the underlying motivations that drive individuals, enabling her to create personalized, effective strategies that promote lasting health changes.
